Job Summary
Assess, plan, and organize rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength for pediatric patients suffering from disease or injury. Implement treatment plans, select appropriate activities to progress patients toward goals, and revise plans with patient and family input. Provide ongoing education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources while documenting evaluations and sessions per departmental guidelines. Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs and discharge plans. Adhere to ethical business practices, maintain confidentiality, and observe infection prevention precautions. Participate in staff meetings, process improvement activities, and mandatory professional development to maintain licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Physical Therapy or Masters Physical Therapy or Doctorate Physical Therapy
- PT - Physical Therapist
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
