Acute Care Physical Therapist

Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Conduct evaluations and treatments according to professional standards, develop care plans with specific goals, and consult with patients, families, and caregivers to deliver patient-centered care. Manage all aspects of patient care and education, including supervising assistants, aides, and students. Maintain thorough patient records, complete billing accurately, and participate in quality improvement processes, utilization review audits, and interdisciplinary meetings. Contribute to program development and marketing strategies to achieve department goals. This role supports the physical therapy program at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado.
