Acute Care Physical Therapist

Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans with specific goals, and educate patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver quality, patient-centered care. Manage all aspects of patient supervision, including assistants, aides, and students, and ensure thorough documentation and accurate billing. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, quality improvement processes, and utilization review audits to improve clinical outcomes and patient experience. Contribute to program development strategies to achieve department goals.
