Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans with specific goals, and educate patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver quality, patient-centered care. Manage all aspects of patient care and supervision, including overseeing assistants, aides, office staff, and students. Maintain thorough patient records, complete accurate billing, and participate in quality improvement processes, utilization review audits, and interdisciplinary meetings. Contribute to program development and marketing strategies to grow the physical therapy program. This role supports the Intermountain Health Operating Model at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
