Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities in accordance with standard practices. Conduct evaluations and treatments based on diagnoses, history, and physician referrals, developing care plans with specific goals. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver patient-centered care. Manage all aspects of patient care and supervision, including assisting with transporting patients and operating complex equipment. Maintain thorough patient records, complete billing accurately, and participate in quality improvement processes and interdisciplinary meetings. This role is based at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, with a scheduled weekly hour requirement of 36.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Current driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Acceptable driving record
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
