Job Summary
Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Conduct evaluations and treatments according to professional standards, develop care plans with specific goals, and consult with patients, families, and caregivers to deliver quality, patient-centered care. Manage all aspects of patient care and education, including supervising assistants, aides, office staff, and students. Ensure thorough and timely patient documentation, complete patient billing accurately, and participate in interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement processes. Contribute to program development and marketing strategies to grow the physical therapy program. Work at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, with 36 scheduled weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in states where you work
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting
