Acute Care Physical Therapist

Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat injuries, diseases, and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities. Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans with specific goals, and educate patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams. Manage all aspects of patient care, including supervising assistants, aides, office staff, and students to ensure high-quality service. Maintain thorough patient records, complete accurate billing, and participate in quality improvement processes, utilization review audits, and interdisciplinary meetings. Contribute to program development and marketing strategies to achieve department goals. This role is based at St. Marys Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, with a scheduled 36-hour weekly week.
