Acute Care - Occupational Therapist - PRN

Occupational Therapist (PRN) in Houston, TX, providing inpatient pediatric OT across Acute Care settings including ICU, PICU, TICU, CVICU, and post-op Pavilion. Responsibilities include complete patient evaluations and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care with measurable goals, managing schedule and productivity, collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team, monitoring response to therapy, recommending adaptive equipment as appropriate, ensuring patient authorization prior to treatment, educating patients and families for home programs, and documenting in the electronic medical record. All successful candidates will undergo respiratory fit testing. Requires Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy and OT certification; 2 years pediatric and/or clinical experience preferred; inpatient pediatric experience preferred. Weekend shifts (4 per month) and potential 12-week full-time training period are noted.
