Job Summary
Direct patient occupational therapy services in acute care (PRN schedule). Responsibilities include evaluating patients to determine OT needs, developing and implementing individualized treatment programs with patient input, supervising/ delegating to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant or OT students, terminating services when goals are met, educating and communicating with the treatment team and family, documenting progress, and ensuring follow-through of the treatment plan. Must maintain effective communication with physicians and treatment team, provide in-service education as needed, and participate in ongoing quality and care delivery within the hospital setting. Location: St. Marys Regional Hospital, Grand Junction, CO. Intermountain Health offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy, required
- Current license as an Occupational Therapist in the State of practice, required
- Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association, required
- At least one (1) year of experience in a setting serving the same age/type of patient population served by this facility or department, preferred
