Job Summary
Conduct screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treatment of injuries, diseases, and disabilities using occupational therapy procedures and modalities. Consult, educate, and train patients, families, and caregivers while collaborating with care teams to deliver patient-centered care. Develop care plans with specific goals based on patient assessments and participate in interdisciplinary meetings and quality improvement processes. Manage patient care and supervision of assistants, aides, and students, ensuring thorough documentation and accurate billing. Promote continuing education opportunities and contribute to program development strategies to achieve department goals.
Required Qualifications
- Current Occupational Therapist license in states where you work.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Basic Computer skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Possess skill sets and experience with target population of job setting.
- Current driver's license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record.
