Job Summary
Acute Care Occupational Therapist responsible for performing evaluations and re-evaluations, developing and implementing individualized OT treatment plans with goals and activities, and educating patients and caregivers. Role includes documenting clearly using objective terminology, discharge planning when maximum benefit is achieved, supervising assistants, maintaining clinical competencies, contributing to quality initiatives, and participating in community education and outreach. Requires OT licensure with BLS, and a Master's degree is preferred; full-time, Day-Weekend shift in Daytona Beach, FL with relocation and sign-on benefits available; familiarity with EMR, interdisciplinary collaboration, and ongoing professional development is expected, with the organization committed to extending the healing ministry of Christ.
Required Qualifications
- Master's in Occupational Therapy (Preferred)
- Occupational Therapist license (OT) required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- OT license/certification required
- Ability to read, write, and speak conversational English
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, EMR systems
