Job Summary
Provide comprehensive cardiac care to adult patients in the inpatient setting by performing history and physical examinations, ordering diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans. Conduct hospital rounds, follow-up visits, and discharge planning while collaborating with supervising cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams. Manage patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions such as hypertension, coronary artery disease, and heart failure, and educate patients on cardiac conditions and preventive care. Participate in outpatient clinic appointments including medication management. Requires current Georgia licensure as an NP or PA, BLS and ACLS certification, and a minimum of one year of cardiology or inpatient APP experience. Schedule is three twelve-hour shifts from Friday through Sunday, 7am to 7pm.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current Georgia licensure (or eligibility) as an NP or PA
- Board certification as an NP (AGACNP) or PA-C
- BLS and ACLS certification
- 3/12's – Friday – Sunday, 7am-7pm
