Job Summary
Nurse Manager leading a Med/Surg unit(s) at Wellstar in Grovetown, GA. Responsible for clinical, financial, human and material resources deployment, staff recruitment and retention, and ensuring safety and quality standards. Serves as chief retention and safety officer, uses data and technology to guide decisions, and collaborates with physicians, staff, patients, and other departments. Supports shared governance, promotes staff competency in clinical care delivery, and models professional nursing practice and leadership while driving performance improvements in care outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in nursing management
- RN license
- BLS - Basic Life Support (Instructor or Basic) or ARC-BLS
- RN-COMPACT - Multi-state Compact or RN - Single State
Desired Qualifications
- Masters Nursing (preferred)
- RN license
- BLS Certification (Instructor or Basic)
- RN-Compact (multi-state) or RN - Single State
