Job Summary
Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate medical-surgical acute care nursing: perform assessments and reassessments, develop individualized plans of care, administer medications, document care, educate patients and families, maintain equipment, and communicate needs. Responsibilities include patient rounding to maximize satisfaction and quality, applying nursing process to meet patient needs, promoting customer service, and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. Requires minimum 1 year med/surg experience, active RN licensure in TN, BLS, and plan to obtain Med-Surg certification within 1 year. Hospital affiliated with Neuroscience/Stroke programs; role based in Franklin, TN.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year med/surg experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing or other acceptable Board of Nursing
- Current BLS certification
- Pursue and complete Med-Surg certification within 1 year from date of hire
