Job Summary
Acute Care Medicine Registered Nurse role with Weekend Option at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Provides direct patient care for acute medical conditions, educates patients and families on illness management and home care needs, participates in patient safety and quality/regulatory activities, and collaborates with an interprofessional team to develop and implement individual plans of care. Role emphasizes leadership, professional development, and advancement within BJC's career ladder. Shifts are 12 hours (7am–7pm) with a Saturday/Sunday weekend option and one additional weekday. Requires RN licensure and related nursing education; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
