Job Summary
Conduct acupuncture, cupping, gua sha, and herbal formulation treatments while accurately diagnosing physical and psychological conditions through patient interviews and symptom interpretation. Create customizable treatment plans to track patient progress, maintain detailed client files, and build a supportive community with colleagues. Deliver consistent guest experiences by adhering to strict treatment times, grooming standards, and operational protocols, while confidently articulating TCM philosophies to patients. Manage varied shifts including day, night, and weekends to meet patient rebooking requirements and facilitate corporate events or retreats.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to clearly articulate and communicate theories, diagnoses, and TCM philosophies to patients
- Proficient in cupping
- Proficient in moxibustion
- Proficient in gua sha
- Proficient in electric stimulation
- Capable of treating a wide range of disorders, including both physical and psychological conditions
- Accurately diagnosing conditions through patient interviews, observation, and interpretation of symptoms
- Be able to confidently prescribe different treatments as well as herbal formulations
- Must be able to create a safe and serene environment for each patient
- Fluent in English
- Fluent in VIE offerings and products
- Current CA State License
- Flexible and available to work varied shifts
- Master's degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and/or Doctorate of Chiropractic
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in ear seeding
- Preferred knowledge of Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine
- Preferred knowledge of Master Tung technique
- Desire to expand your practice and learn
