Job Summary
Licensed Acupuncturist sought for a contract-to-hire, part-time role at AURĀE Modern Medical + Spa in Mount Pleasant, SC. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive client consultations using Traditional Chinese Medicine principles, performing acupuncture with precise needle insertion, and applying modalities such as cupping, moxibustion, gua sha, acupressure/shiatsu/tuina, heat/cold therapies, and Ayurvedic counseling. Will treat stress and nervous system regulation, hormone balance and women’s wellness, facial and cosmetic acupuncture, fertility support, pain management, lymphatic-focused therapies, and support integrative wellness goals. Maintain SOAP documentation, deliver an elevated hospitality-focused experience, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Qualifications include an active SC acupuncture license, professional liability insurance, a Master’s degree or higher in Acupuncture/Oriental Medicine, and NCCAOM certification or eligibility; strong communication and a client-centered, professional presence.
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina Acupuncturist license in good standing
- Current professional liability insurance
- Master’s degree or higher in Acupuncture or Oriental Medicine from an accredited institution
- National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) certification (or eligibility, as applicable)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for holistic wellness and client-centered care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary environment
- Professional, calming, and hospitality-driven presence
