Job Summary
Actuary responsible for analyzing and evaluating likelihood of future events to reduce risk. Perform actuarial analyses, valuations, cost estimates, and modeling using statistical programming and database tools. Conduct rate level pricing functions and prepare monitoring reports on program or product pricing. Identify historical relationships to develop forecasts and trends. This on-site role collaborates with teams across Minnetonka, Madison, Omaha, and St. Louis to deliver coordinated care and competitive benefits for a nonprofit health plan. Requires strong actuarial judgment, data-driven decision making, and ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Licensure/certification: FSA preferred or demonstrated performance under supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
- 7 years of work experience beyond degree
- FSA achieved or demonstrated performance over multiple years under the supervision of a qualified actuary
