Job Summary

Lead and develop the pricing team while overseeing product pricing activities and executing project plans with on-time, high-quality deliveries. Perform analysis requiring pricing expertise, stay current with regulatory changes, and ensure product development follows guidelines and meets internal profit/risk governance standards. Collaborate with stakeholders across marketing, sales, investment, and operations to balance competitiveness, profitability, and risk for leading-edge life insurance products. Secure required product approvals and provide development advice to support staff growth within the Consumers Market Division. This hybrid role involves four days on-site and one day remote in Newport Beach, CA, Omaha, NE, or Charlotte, NC, with relocation assistance available for candidates outside these locations.

Required Qualifications

  • FSA with 10+ years of related experience in actuarial pricing and product development
  • Direct experience developing life insurance products
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Strong management, team-building, and communication skills
  • Excellent project management and business partnering abilities
  • Proven leadership with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to understand the big picture and mobilize initiatives in ambiguous situations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • FSA with 10+ years of actuarial experience
  • Prior experience developing life insurance products
  • VBA coding experience and proficiency in related programming languages
  • Experience with actuarial modeling and statistical analysis programs, particularly Prophet and R, MG-ALFA, GGY-AXIS
