Job Summary
Actuary to join USAA's Modeling Factory within the Underwriting & Pricing Analytics team. Responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and providing regulatory support for advanced pricing and demand models across lines of business; applying advanced actuarial, mathematical, and statistical techniques; leading special actuarial projects and developing new methodologies; training new team members; translating business problems into technical requirements; independently running catastrophe models and communicating results for critical business activities; collaborating with Go-to-Market Pricing and Insights teams to implement innovative actuarial solutions; ensuring risk management and regulatory compliance; preparing written materials and presentations for cross-functional leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years related Actuarial/business/analytical experience
- ACAS Credential
- 4 years of actuarial or analytical business experience
- Advanced skills with actuarial, mathematical, and statistical techniques
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, SAS, BI tools or other analysis software
- Experience communicating complex solutions to executive leadership
