Job Summary
Advise insurers on actuarial, financial, and risk management issues while leading projects in reserving, pricing, and capital management. Develop and evaluate actuarial models, support clients on Solvency II and IFRS 17 compliance, and translate complex analyses into clear recommendations. Coordinate project teams to ensure quality, planning, and budget adherence, while coaching junior colleagues and managing client relationships. Contribute to business development and the growth of the Belgian office. This role involves working across damage, life, and health insurance sectors alongside data scientists and risk managers at a global advisory firm.
Required Qualifications
- Een masterdiploma in actuariële wetenschappen, wiskunde, econometrie, statistiek of een vergelijkbare kwantitatieve richting.
- Minimaal 5 jaar relevante werkervaring binnen de Belgische verzekeringssector.
- Sterke analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden.
- Kennis van actuariële technieken, financiële modellering en/of risicomanagement.
- Ervaring met projectmanagement en klantcontact.
- Een ondernemende en proactieve instelling.
- Het vermogen om complexe materie helder uit te leggen aan verschillende stakeholders.
- De capaciteit om zowel zelfstandig als in teamverband te werken.
- Je spreekt vloeiend Nederlands en Engels.
Desired Qualifications
- Kennis van de Franse taal is een pluspunt.
- Lidmaatschap van IA|BE of een vergelijkbare actuarieel beroepsvereniging is een pluspunt.
- Voor senior kandidaten zijn daarnaast ervaring met projectmanagement, coaching van collega's en business development duidelijke pluspunten.
