Job Summary
Sr. Actuarial Analyst supporting the WC Loss Ratio Planning (LRP) processes for the Workers’ Compensation line of business, analyzing historical and prospective loss trends, large losses, ALAE, and related topics; monitoring performance against plan and contributing to monthly/quarterly leadership reviews; performing in-depth ad-hoc analyses to diagnose drivers of performance vs. plan; partnering with SB & M&L actuarial, reserving, performance analytics, product, data science, IT, and other teams; leveraging disciplined analytics to improve tools and processes; applying strong statistical and communication skills to inform leadership and drive value.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Actuarial exam path to credentialed actuary with at least 2 passed exams required
- Minimum of 2+ years of Property & Casualty actuarial experience
- Knowledge of actuarial pricing and reserving techniques
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with R or Python preferred
- Excellent oral and written communications
- Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
