Job Summary
Actuarial Modelling & Valuations Capability Transformation Manager leads a distributed actuarial-technology team across multiple locations to redesign end-to-end valuation processes, strengthen the control environment, and drive automation/orchestration initiatives using modern tooling including AI. The role oversees a two-year fixed-term transformation roadmap, collaborating with actuarial, technology and change teams to deliver efficient, well-controlled and scalable valuation activities, with emphasis on governance, stakeholder engagement and cross-functional delivery via the Centre of Excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Strong grounding in actuarial valuation concepts and processes, with the ability to translate complex actuarial requirements into practical operational and technology solutions
- Proven experience managing mixed actuarial-technology teams and delivering change in controlled environments
- Ability to interpret data, assess risks and make balanced decisions using technical judgement and stakeholder insight
- Skilled at navigating complex, regulated environments while ensuring work is completed to a high standard with appropriate control governance and documentation
- Clear and confident communicator, able to simplify complexity, influence senior stakeholders and support colleagues through change
- Highly organised, adaptable and proactive, able to operate effectively across multiple priorities and timelines
