Job Summary
Actuarial Analyst will process state rate filings to execute the WC rate plan, develop filing strategies, and support the filing process. The role collaborates with Product, IT, and cross Actuarial teams, handling ad hoc projects, annual indication updates, and quarterly dividend projections. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with SQL, VBA, R, Python, or SAS, coupled with clear written and verbal communication and disciplined time management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Actuarial exam path to become credentialed actuary with at least 2-4 passed exams required
- Strong Excel skills
- Knowledge of SQL, VBA, R, Python, SAS or similar languages a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong time/project management skills
