Job Summary
Support the Actuarial division by assisting with Product Development, Inforce Management, or Valuation projects as assigned. Gain exposure to planning, execution, and evaluation stages of initiatives including illustration support, process improvements, data warehouse enhancements, and competitive analysis. Participate in weekly cohort meetings with Executive Leadership and one-on-one sessions with division leaders. Prepare and present a capstone summary detailing project accomplishments, skill development, and key learnings. Complete 38.75 hours per week while maintaining a 3.0 GPA and working toward ASA certification.
Required Qualifications
- Rising Sophomore, Junior or Senior in college with area of study in Actuarial Science
- Working toward ASA certification, with at least one SOA exam completed
- Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA
- Ability to work 38.75 hours per week
- Proficient computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with spreadsheet, database and word processing software
- Exposure to programming solutions, such as Python, R, VB, SQL, or comparable language
- The ability to provide seamless, trustworthy, attentive and resourceful (S.T.A.R.) customer service
- Passion for making an impact in local communities
