Job Summary
Actuarial Associate II on EVB Modeling focuses on projection modeling for Elective Voluntary Benefits (EVB) products (including Traditional, Health and Universal Life), supports asset adequacy testing, Japanese accounting implementation, and model governance. You will update projection models, review outputs, document processes and collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure projections align with operations. The role offers exposure to GGY AXIS, Power BI, Python, Confluence, and other actuarial/data tools, and participates in the Actuarial Student Program with a development path toward Associate/Fellow designations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, business, related fields, or comparable work experience
- Minimum 2 years experience in an actuarial role
- Successful completion of a minimum of 2 actuarial exams
- Hands on experience updating projection models and reviewing model outputs
- Solid understanding of materiality of analytical results
- Experience with group, life, or health products (preferred)
- Intermediate to advanced Excel Skills (required)
- Programming experience (Python preferred)
- GGY AXIS experience (preferred)
- Dashboard creation in Power BI or Tableau (required)
