Job Summary
Provide pricing and underwriting advice to support portfolio growth and profitability objectives. Assist with pricing recommendations, rating methodology, segment relativities, and return on equity analysis. Support budgeting, forecasting, and business planning through models and portfolio insights. Monitor claims experience, performance indicators, and value drivers to identify trends and opportunities. Help identify profitable and underperforming segments and share insights with underwriting and distribution teams. Improve model pricing, data quality, and reporting practices in line with Zurich standards. Work with global, diverse, and inclusive teams to drive equity and innovation within Zurich's General Insurance business.
Required Qualifications
- A degree in Actuarial Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical capability using statistical, actuarial or data driven techniques.
- Proficiency in Excel and programming tools such as Python, R or SAS.
- Sound attention to detail with a strong focus on quality, accuracy and data integrity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly.
- Commercial awareness of the general insurance industry, with a customer focused and growth minded approach.
