Job Summary
The Actuarial Analyst at Medica will provide analytical support in pricing, forecasting, reserving, and financial reporting. Key responsibilities include developing financial models and reports, performing data analysis using actuarial techniques, and ensuring compliance with actuarial standards. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s in a relevant field, have 3 years of post-degree experience, and pass 3 SOA exams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field
- 3 years of experience beyond degree
- Successful completion of 3 Society of Actuaries (SOA) exams
Desired Qualifications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Experience with SQL, SAS, R, or Python
