Job Summary

Actuarial Analyst I needed to independently apply complex actuarial methodologies and expert knowledge in a practice area to complete unstructured projects. You will select data, perform trend analysis to support rate level indications, run catastrophe models, translate business problems into technical requirements, and communicate insights to executive leadership. Responsibilities include applying mathematical and statistical techniques, creating and delivering training on actuarial tools, identifying compliance gaps and process improvements, leading unit initiatives, and collaborating across stakeholders to solve unstructured business problems. ABachelor’s degree or equivalent experience plus 4 years of actuarial/analytical experience, and proficiency with Python, R, SQL, SAS or similar tools are expected, with a preference for candidates connected to military service or military spouses.
