Job Summary

Conduct pricing analysis for property and casualty and specialty reinsurance portfolios, including lines of business studies, profitability reviews, and ad-hoc modeling. Collaborate with underwriters on technical assessments and exposure analysis while working with clients and brokers to develop innovative risk transfer solutions. Liaise with underwriting and management to support international books of business in Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa. Work with the actuarial function to enhance pricing tools and ensure consistency across global branches.

Required Qualifications

  • Actuarial, Math or Science related degree
  • 1-5 years of P&C actuarial pricing experience
  • Demonstrated progress towards an actuarial designation by a recognized body
  • Experience in project work and tool development
  • Excellent computer/data manipulation skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Reinsurance experience
  • Line of business experience in Latin America, Caribbean and/or Middle Eastern markets
  • Experience with Python, and/or R, SQL, programming skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency
  • Keen to work in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams
  • Good team player
  • A business-oriented focus (motivated, self-directed, organized, and analytical)
