Job Summary

Actuarial Analyst/Consultant/Senior Consultant in Deloitte Canada’s Insurance practice focuses on independent validations of insurance models (pricing, valuation, asset, LICAT & IFRS 17) in line with Model Risk Policy. You will identify potential risks in model design, provide recommendations to mitigate model risk, and communicate validation results to senior leadership and model owners. Prepare a Model Validation plan/report detailing scope, testing approach, results, findings, and conclusions. This role offers a dynamic environment to collaborate with across-functional teams and exposure to high-profile clients in banks, insurance firms, funds, and credit unions within a hybrid work setting in Toronto or Vancouver. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative field such as actuarial science, statistics, and mathematical finance
  • For Analyst, 0 – 1 year of relevant experience; for Consultant, 1 – 3 years of relevant experience; for Senior Consultant, ASA with 2 – 5+ years of relevant experience
