Job Summary
Contribute to corporate initiatives by collaborating with peers to support actuarial projects ensuring profitability of property and casualty lines, specifically focusing on commercial auto. Analyze portfolio profitability, develop and improve rating algorithms, perform impact analysis, and support rate implementation using advanced modeling software and programming languages. Reconcile data sources, maintain documentation of key actuarial functions, and communicate concepts to peers while adhering to company policies. Required Qualifications
- English is required
- You have completed a post-secondary degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science or related discipline
- You will be subject to a Background check as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- French is an asset
- Having knowledge of commercial auto is an asset
- Having or working towards the ACAS or FCAS designations is an asset
- Having basic knowledge of modeling softwares and programming languages such as Earnix or other live rating engines is an asset
- Relevant experience in the Property and Casualty actuarial field is an asset
