Activity Therapy Specialist

Assess and evaluate psychosocial functioning, formulate treatment goals, and implement individualized therapeutic activities for inpatient psychiatry patients within 48 hours of admission. Manage daily schedules of individual and group activities, document patient progress, and maintain supply inventory and equipment per supervisory review. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, nursing leadership, and community agencies to provide patient-centered care, while participating in team meetings and ensuring compliance with Bassett Healthcare education requirements through annual educational activities. Maintain connections with community resources and deliver care in a non-judgmental manner sensitive to patient diversity.
