Job Summary
Execute activities including archery, aerial sports, and fishing for guests aged 6+, while supervising and guiding participants. Facilitate property tours in the company van and assist with scheduling to ensure a seamless experience. Serve as a knowledge expert for hiking trails and local adventures, while supporting glamping housekeeping tasks like laundry and cleaning. Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions, maintaining a safe and organized work area. Perform additional duties assigned by leadership and adhere to staff handbook policies. Requires standing and hiking up to 8 hours daily with the ability to lift 50 pounds. Work 45-55 hours per week in a staff camp tent.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 18+
- Complete USA archery level 1 instructor or BSA archery rangemaster (training provided)
- Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication
- Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily and ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
- Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record, including height/weight guidelines

- Preferred: Outdoor recreation experience
- High emotional intelligence (such as self/social awareness and team dynamics)
- Positive and cheerful attitude with a strong customer-service focus
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn/develop hard and soft skills
