Job Summary
Monitors and supervises children in recreation activities, contributes to program development and safety, administers basic first aid, responds to emergencies, and communicates with parents. Must be able to work with children, carry out instructions, and meet health and safety requirements; Spanish or ASL skills preferred; requires first aid/CPR and food handler certifications; part-time hours with specific shifts in the morning and afternoon.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduation or equivalency
- one year of experience working with children
- Possession of or ability to obtain current first aid and CPR certificates
- Possession of Oregon Food Handler Permit
- Possession or ability to obtain RRCAN and ICCHS certifications
- Must be at least 16 years of age
