Job Summary
Assist the Director Activities in planning and carrying out recreational programs while approaching residents to schedule individual social events and report on their participation. Prepare resident information for care planning documentation, write progress notes, and maintain departmental inventory of equipment and supplies. Develop contacts with community resources to enhance the activities program, manage attendance records, and prepare required reports. This role requires a valid New York Driver's License, physical stamina for constant activity, and the ability to adapt programs to resident needs. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 yrs. age
- HS diploma or equivalent
- Valid New York Driver's License
- clean driving record
- Ability to develop good relationships with staff, volunteers, families and visitors
- Ability to inspire and motivate others

- Understanding of the rights and needs of residents
