Job Summary
Deliver exciting, age-appropriate activities like multi-sports, arts & crafts, group games, and creative play for children aged 4–11. Set up engaging play spaces, ensure safety and cleanliness, and supervise children with care and enthusiasm. Prepare snacks and manage sign-in/out processes while maintaining a friendly demeanor. Work split shifts from 7:30–9:00am and 3:00–5:30pm Monday to Friday, with opportunities to increase hours during holiday seasons. This role is part of Junior Adventures Group's Breakfast Club and Afterschool Wraparound program, where teams champion fun and make a real impact in children's lives.
Required Qualifications
- Compliance with the Keeping Children Safe in Education policy
- Exemption from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974
- Two references, one from your most recent employer and the other from a childcare setting (if applicable)
- Ability to work split shifts: 7:30–9:00am and 3:00–5:30pm
- Positive, can-do attitude
- Confidence running activities and managing a group
- Ability to supervise children with care and enthusiasm, ensuring every child feels welcome, safe, and included
