Job Summary
Activity Leader for Greenwich House program responsible for leading student activities and providing academic support. Role includes tutoring, organizing and leading STEM, leadership, sports and arts activities, writing age-appropriate lesson plans, supervising groups of children (ages 3-11), ensuring a safe environment, and promoting positive character development. Requires strong math and English skills, ability to engage youth, flexibility to work evening/weekend events, and completion of background checks and required trainings.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Must pass pre-employment background investigation including fingerprinting, employment history, and criminal background check
- Must complete mandatory DOH/OCFS training prior to employment
- Experience working with youth ages 3-11 in group settings or classroom
