Job Summary
Lead and deliver a diverse calendar of activities for senior residents, including art classes, music sessions, trivia, outings, and themed events. Design new programs based on resident interests, organize large and small events, track participation and adjust programming based on feedback, and manage an activity budget. Supervise and inspire an activity assistant(s) and volunteers, transport residents to activities, and collaborate with other departments. Requires creativity, leadership, and strong organizational skills; prior experience in senior living, recreation, or social services is a plus; must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain it. This role may involve weekends, holidays, or evenings to support the activity calendar.
