Job Summary
Oversees the Activity Department in a skilled nursing facility, planning, organizing, and directing activities to meet residents’ physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being per policies and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include facilitating group activities, supporting 1-on-1 activities, transporting residents to activities, assisting with outings and special events, maintaining supplies, and collaborating with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care while ensuring confidentiality, HIPAA, and Residents’ Rights. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of experience in an Activities Department within a Skilled Nursing Facility.
