Activity Director

Assess residents to determine appropriate activities based on their needs and interests. Provide and encourage participation in programs that stimulate communication and promote well-being. Coordinate activity schedules with volunteers and existing facility routines. Plan special events, parties, entertainment, and crafts while encouraging resident assistance. Maintain a cheerful environment through seasonal decorations and bulletin boards. Supervise overall activity programs with special attention to residents requiring support. Ensure the activity area remains in good order before and after each session. Requires a high school diploma, experience with activities and handicrafts, and strong communication skills.
