Job Summary
Develop and implement engaging activities and programs tailored to residents' diverse interests and needs. Collaborate with the care team to align programming with individualized care plans and recruit, train volunteers to assist. Monitor program effectiveness, adjust as needed, and manage activity budgets while maintaining accurate records. Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff to foster a warm, welcoming environment. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in activity programming. Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, to support our vibrant senior living community dedicated to enhancing the lives of older adults.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in recreation therapy, gerontology, or related field
- Experience in activity direction or a related field
