ACTIVITY DIRECTOR (64484)

Plan, organize, and implement a program of activity/leisure pursuits designed to meet the social, spiritual, intellectual, emotional, educational and physical needs and interests of residents in accordance with the comprehensive resident care plan. Supports care teams and operational aspects of activities for residents in a health care setting; requires accreditation as a Certified Activity Director and completion of a state approved Activity Director training course; Bachelor's degree in recreation therapy or related area preferred and licensure/registration preferred; prior experience in long term care and resident activities programs is preferred.
