Activity Assistant

Plan, organize, and lead recreational activities, such as arts and crafts, games, and outings, to stimulate resident participation. Develop and maintain a calendar of events tailored to diverse resident needs, while assisting with special celebrations like holiday parties and themed activities. Collaborate with the Recreation Therapy Department to address resident preferences and maintain accurate records of participation and inventory management for supplies. Requires high school diploma with preferred post-secondary education in recreational therapy; ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work extended shifts.
