Job Summary
Plan and facilitate daily, weekly, and monthly events to meet residents' creative, social, physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. Implement activities accommodating special needs while managing logistics such as phone calls, advertising, inventory, budgets, volunteer training, and transportation. Observe participants to gauge enjoyment and obtain feedback for improvement, keeping records on resources, interest, injuries, and behavioral incidents. Report medical concerns, ensure events are well-provisioned and staffed, and enforce all safety procedures. Provide event instructions and adapt activities to suit resident care routines. Requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, early mornings, and emergency conditions within a health care setting.
