Job Summary

Assist Resident Experience Director in planning and providing activities that support residents’ quality of life, align with state requirements for activity programming, and foster an active, social, and creative environment. Responsibilities include following the Calendar of Events, maintaining a resident social history/Life Profile, supporting health and wellness initiatives, welcoming new residents and families to participate, managing activity supplies, setting up and breaking down event spaces (including occasional community bus outings), and collaborating with facility staff to address resident needs and concerns with a positive, professional demeanor. Requires effective verbal communication, enthusiasm, organization, and the ability to engage residents, families, and staff; must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a criminal background clearance. Flexibility to work part-time, including weekends as scheduled, in an assisted living setting.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current and valid state driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background clearance
  • Experience or background in planning and directing activities for elderly residents or in planning and organizing programs for residents, families, and staff
