Job Summary
Design and lead activities for residents, facilitating group and one-on-one programs that engage residents physically, emotionally, and socially under the Life Enrichment Director. Welcome new residents, learn their preferences, document participation and engagement, and help tailor care plans. Collaborate with community volunteers, supervise task assignments, ensure infection control and privacy standards, and create a warm, engaging program. Communicate with residents, families, team members, and supervisors; participate in meetings and training to keep activities fresh and aligned with best practices. The role emphasizes a joyful, patient, and proactive approach to making residents’ days brighter and enriching their daily lives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience in Long Term Care Activities Department or similar role
