Job Summary
Senior Living Activity Assistant responsibilities include hosting daily activities and interactive sessions for residents, transporting residents using the community vehicle, educating and guiding team members on personalized activity opportunities, welcoming residents upon move-in, planning events and decorating common areas, documenting activities (attendance and photographs), ensuring compliance with residents’ rights, and pursuing ongoing professional development. Key skills include compassionate patient engagement, effective communication, ability to coordinate event planning and activity logistics, basic computer literacy, and a valid driver’s license for transportation duties.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in a similar role
- valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- strong communication skills
- tech-savvy with basic computer programs
