Job Summary
The Activity Assistant will support the Activity Director in assessing, selecting, organizing, and implementing recreational services for residents. Key responsibilities include providing engaging activities, supporting the planning and scheduling of activities, maintaining positive relationships with residents and families, and generating enthusiasm for participation. Candidates should be motivated, have experience working with seniors, and preferably hold a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) certification.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) preferred
- One year of job-related experience, preferably in long-term care
- Motivated and organized team-player
- Professional team player with a commitment of maintaining a reliable shift history
- Passionate about contributing to an organization focused on providing genuine hometown care
