Job Summary
Organize, schedule, and facilitate daily activities, excursions, and special events to enhance residents' independence and quality of life. Assist the Activity Director in promoting resident participation through clubs, games, educational classes, and guest speakers. Develop, recruit, and manage community volunteers as requested. Maintain a safe environment for staff, residents, and guests while communicating tactfully with families and visitors. Drive community vehicles and operate personal computers proficiently. Work Sunday through Thursday, 8 am to 4:30 pm, with a pay range of $20.00 to $22.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Requires current Class C license
- Class B license with Passenger Endorsement
- Able to operate a personal computer
- Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Must pass a Criminal Background check
- Must pass Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Able to vaccinate
- Able to participate in daily screening
- Able to undergo surveillance testing
- Able to wear face coverings and other personal protective equipment (PPE)
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors
- Class B license
- Class C license with Passenger Endorsement
